The Lord met
with us through His Word this past weekend. More than
ever do I realize how very precious His Word is... that
word who became flesh and now through the gift of His
Spirit continues to minister to us. Kim Wagner and
Carrie Gaul faithfully delivered the Word of God and
communicated that surrender in obedience to this Word is
the true way to transformation for the glory of God.
Kim stated that the most destructive force opposing the
Gospel is an "untransformed believer." I was
personally challenged to ask myself if I am changing
from one degree of glory to another... this is the call
of the Gospel. Glory is Christ in us, when I
decrease and He increases.
It was truly a
joy to see many making a decision to fulfill the purpose
of a True Woman by pursuing God's intentional design, by
embracing the fact that our gender displays the Gospel
when we live out our womanhood for the glory of God.
We were also
stirred by the presentation of "The Hope of a True
Woman," because it is God Himself that "cuts the
covenant" with us. It is He who began the good
work in us and is most certainly able to complete it.
We also read
and affirmed the "True Woman Manifesto" and had more
than half of the attendees sign their pledge for the
first time.
We give all
thanks and praise to the only One who is worthy... the
Lamb who was slain.
